A Study on the Impact of the Development Level of Digital Economy on Provincial Export Competitiveness in China——Based on the Inspection of Panel Data of 15 Provinces in Eastern,Western Central and Western China
In recent years,China's digital economy has developed rapidly and become a key factor in eco-nomic and social development.Digital technology has not only changed the mode of information interaction in international trade,but also helped to accelerate the growth of foreign trade by promoting new business forms such as cross-border e-commerce,market procurement,and comprehensive foreign trade services.This study collected relevant data from 15 provinces in China from 2013 to 2021 from the statistical yearbooks of different provinces in China,the National Bureau of Statistics,and the PPman database and carried out a study on the development level of the digital economy and the export competitiveness in various provinces through SPSS descriptive statistics,ANOVA analysis,Pearson correlation analysis,and regression analysis,with the purpose to have some understanding on the development trend and maturity of digital economy and ex-port competitiveness in different provinces.The Pearson's correlation coefficient analysis shows that there are regional differences in the improvement effect of the digital economy on export competitiveness,and there may be a threshold effect.When the digital economy develops to a certain level,it has a signifi-cant positive effect on promoting export competitiveness.The regression model analysis indicates that the development level of the digital economy(entropy method)is an important factor that affects export competi-tiveness.The results of this study can provide a reference for the high-quality development of the digital economy and export trade in Chinese provinces.
