In recent years,the construction of the urban primary-level governance community is a hot topic for theoretical and practical research.Using the literature measurement visualization software Citespace to analyze the data of a total of 633 related papers included in the CNKI database,it is found that research on the urban primary-level governance community in China is greatly influenced by macro policies.It can be di-vided into four stages:focusing on the social construction of urban villages,paying attention to community participation and social management,studying urban community governance from multiple dimensions,and em-phasizing Chinese practical research on urban community governance.The cooperation among the scholars is not strong.There is a lack of cooperation among core authors.The cooperation among research institutions is generally limited.Scholars analyze and explore the urban primary-level governance community from the per-spectives of sociology,politics,and public management.The research themes mainly focuse on the develop-ment logic,construction path,and urban grassroots characteristics of the urban primary-level governance community.In the future,it is necessary to strengthen the comparative research on different types of urban primary-level governance community,deepen the practical summary research of Chinese experience,and pro-mote the integrated research of the urban primary-level governance community by multidisciplinary,multi-level and multimethod approaches.
