渤海湾盆地天然气勘探新进展、未来方向与挑战

渤海湾盆地石油和天然气资源丰富,总体呈现"油多气少"的特征,随着国家"双碳"目标提出,天然气作为低碳清洁的过渡能源,其勘探开发愈发重要和紧迫.为了进一步明确渤海湾盆地天然气资源潜力与未来勘探方向,基于区域构造演化和烃源岩发育特征,明确了渤海湾盆地天然气资源分布,创新形成了地质理论和勘探技术,综合分析与类比指出了天然气勘探有利领域及面临的挑战.研究结果表明:①渤海湾盆地发育上古生界石炭系—二叠系煤系和新生界古近系始新统湖相2套主力气源岩,基于烃源岩生排烃模拟分析,测算渤海湾盆地天然气总资源量约为6.60×1012m3,其中渤海海域为2.92×1012m3,占近"半壁江山";②近年通过对渤海海域深层天然气成藏地质理论研究和勘探技术攻关,取得了重要创新认识,包括新生界始新统湖相烃源岩晚期爆发式生烃、潜山规模性成储机制、潜山压扭性断层封堵、潜山多通道输导、宽方位地震成像和裂缝预测技术等;③在新地质认识基础上,通过类比分析,指出发育1套或2套主力气源岩的深大凹陷是未来天然气勘探有利区域,主要包括渤中、辽中、辽河西部等共计10个凹陷;④从层系上看,古潜山、古近系"双古"领域是天然气勘探的主力层系,古近系主要勘探目标为沙河街组混积岩及东营组湖底扇等.结论认为,研究成果明确了渤海湾盆地未来天然气勘探的有利区带、有利层系及面临的挑战,为渤海湾盆地未来天然气规模增储上产坚定了信心,并指明了方向.
Progress,future direction,and challenges of natural gas exploration in the Bohai Bay Basin
The Bohai Bay Basin is rich in oil and natural gas resources,but overall there is more oil than natural gas.With the implementation of the national"dual-carbon"goal,the exploration and development of natural gas which is a kind of low-carbon clean and transitional energy is increasingly important and urgent.In order to further clarify the resource potential and future exploration direction of natural gas in the Bohai Bay Basin,this paper defines the distribution of natural gas resources in the Bohai Bay Basin based on the characteristics of regional tectonic evolution and source rock development.In addition,geological theories and exploration technologies are innovatively developed,and favorable areas and challenges to natural gas exploration are identified through comprehensive analysis and analogy.And the following research results are obtained.First,two sets of principal gas source rocks are developed in the Bohai Bay Basin,namely,the Carboniferous-Permian coal measure layer and the Eocene lacustrine layer.Based on the simulation analysis of hydrocarbon generation and expulsion of source rocks,the total natural gas resources in the Bohai Bay Basin are estimated to be about 6.60× 1012 m3,of which 2.92× 1012 m3 lies in the Bohai Sea area,accounting for nearly half of the total.Second,in recent years,important innovative understandings have been obtained by researching the accumulation geological theories and exploration technologies for deep natural gas in the Bohai Sea area,including explosive hydrocarbon generation of the Eocene lacustrine source rock in the late stage,large-scale reservoir formation of buried hills,sealing of compressive and torsional faults in buried hills,multi-channel hydrocarbon supply in buried hills,wide azimuth seismic imaging and fracture prediction technology.Third,based on the new geological understandings,combined with analog analysis,it is indicated that 10 deep and large depressions with one or two sets of principal gas source rocks are the favorable areas for future natural gas exploration,including Bozhong,Liaozhong,and Western depressions.Fourth,from the stratigraphic perspective,the"double ancient"areas(Paleozoic and buried hill)are the main layers for natural gas exploration.The main exploration targets in the Paleogene are the Shahejie Formation hgbrid sedimentary and the Dongying Formation sublacustrine fan.In conclusion,the research results clarify the favorable zones,favorable layers,and challenges to the future natural gas exploration in the Bohai Bay Basin,so as to strengthen the confidence of large-scale natural gas reserves and production increase in the Bohai Bay Basin in the future and point out the next direction.
