Path and strategy to enhance the value of natural gas chemical industry chain in Sichuan-Chongqing area
With the effective implementation of the construction of Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle as well as the rapid progress in the construction of the national natural gas(shale gas)productivity base of one hundred billion cubic meters in the Sichuan-Chongqing area and the trillion-level pillar industry system of energy chemical industry in Sichuan province,the Sichuan-Chongqing area,as the birthplace of China's natural gas chemical industry(hereinafter referred to as natural gas chemical industry),ushers in a historical opportunity of high-quality development while facing the problems such as low industrial ecological niche and excess production capacity of similar products.Under the new situation,it is in urgent need to clarify the development ideas and realize promotion and upgrading.Based on the development status of the natural gas chemical industry in the Sichuan-Chongqing area,this paper reviews the main problems and basic development conditions of the natural gas chemical industry in the Sichuan-Chongqing area,and then proposes the realization paths to and strategic suggestions on the high-quality development of natural gas chemical industry chain.The following results are obtained.First,the natural gas chemical industry in the Sichuan-Chongqing area mainly faces the problems such as insufficient product economy,low overall R&D investment and weak industrial chain.Second,in the Sichuan-Chongqing area,there is abundant natural gas and water resources to provide a good foundation for industrial development,and the natural gas chemical industry gets active support from the local government to be significantly advantageous in economic benefit and environmental protection.Third,the paths to realize the high-quality development of natural gas chemical industry chain mainly include cluster development to build a modern natural gas chemical industry base;scientific and technological leading to create a new highland of natural gas chemical innovation;and demand drive to upgrade the fine chemical product system of natural gas.In conclusion,the Sichuan-Chongqing area is the most important natural gas chemical industry base with a long history and rich types.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to study the value enhancement of natural gas chemical industry chain.What's more,cluster,environmental and fine development is the inevitable trend to achieve high-quality development of the industrial chain.Sichuan-Chongqing area,due to low industrial energy consumption and the environmentally-friendly production process,has the advantages of high-quality development and good demonstration effect.
