An evaluation method for development indexes in tight gas reservoirs of Sichuan Basin and its application
Evaluating development indexes in gas reservoirs is prominent to measure the development effect, find the weakness in this development, and improve the production management. It is necessary to establish a scientific, rational, and practical evaluation system and select a quantitative evaluation method for tight gas of Sichuan Basin in the high-quality exploration and development. So,many indexes which can fully reflect such reservoirs'exploration and development were picked out according to actual data and insights on geology-wellbore-surface integration. Moreover,an evaluation method suitable for such reservoirs was built. Results show that(ⅰ)with three dimensions and three phases as well as a hierarchy way,a system to evaluate the development indexes is established for tight gas reservoirs using big data analysis including analytic hierarchy process(AHP),criteria importance though intercrieria correlation(CRITIC)and factor analysis(FA)with traditional techniques. It enables the optimization on both key characterization pa-rameters and comprehensive weight analysis;(ⅱ)the index score quantification criteria are clarified by using data fusion management and index score determination such as efficacy coefficient method, grade method, and k-means clustering method. And the true value of elemental indexes is converted into a numerical score to achieve refined quantitative evaluation;and(ⅲ)the evaluated results are in agreement with actual situation. Some weaknesses can be found in typical tight gas reservoirs, such as fast gas production and fewer measure wells. And this evaluation method is also applicable for similar reservoirs.
