Analysis on Main Contributors Influencing Soil Salinization of Yellow River Delta
Based on field survey and soil sampling data, the occurring environment and influencing factors of saline soils of Yellow River Delta has been described, and the severity, classification and characteristics of soil salinization were discussed. According to the environmental variables at sampling points, e.g. groundwater depth, total dissolved solids (TDS), elevation, vegetation cover, a grey correlation model was utilized to indicate the main contributors of soil salinization. As a result, the salinity of primary saline soil was mainly controlled by groundwater depth, TDS and vegetation cover. The secondary saline soil was mainly influenced by distance to drainage dykes, groundwater TDS and depth.
