Effects of Phosphorus Activator on Different Type of Phosphorus and Their Validities in Red Soil
Different phosphorus activators (PA) were added into southern red soil of China to test their activation capability. The results showed that PA could improve available phosphorus contents in the soil effectively, and activations capability of different activators differed. Results of coeffcient analysis and path coefficient analysis showed that the activations capability order were as follows: Low-molecular weight organic acid >humic acid>sodium humate>ethyl allophanate. Meanwhile, PA could improve Al-P, Ca-P, Fe-P and other inorganic phosphorus contents effectively, Al-P and Ca-P was different from control significantly at l% level, while available phosphorus and Fe-P were not different with control obviously. They still could affect active phosphorus according to Al-P and Ca-P indirectly, PA played a negative role in O-P formation of soil.
