Effects of Biochar on Dynamics Change of Phosphorus in Dryland Soil
The effects of biochar on dynamics change of phosphorus in dryland soil under artificial rainfall conditions through adding 0 %,0.5 %,2 %,4 %,6 % and 8 % of biochar into dryland soil were explored and the method of laboratory simulation test was conducted. The results showed that:(1)With increasing addition of biochar, the pH and total phosphorus content of leachate gradually increased, but leachate volume gradually decreased, the adding percentage of biochar (x) met linear and index equation with total leachate volume (y1) and total phosphorus contents of leachate (y2),respectively:y1=-39.879x+1841.8,R2=0.973 1,n=24 and y2=174.8e0.17471747x,R2 =0.981 9,n=24.(2)With increasing addition of biochar, the content of Olsen-P gradually increased, but content of total P had no obvious change, the adding percentage of biochar (x) and content of Olsen-P met linear equation:ya =3.9436x +53.181,R2=0.888 2,n =24.(3)With increasing addition of biochar, the leaching amount of soil phosphorus was closely related to content of Olsen-P in deep soil, and the deeper the soil layer went, the better the correlation became. In a word, biochar could contribute to phosphorus effectiveness in dryland soil, but adding large amount of biochar would result in the severe leaching of phosphorus.
