Effects of Maize and Ginger Intercropping on the Soil Microorganisms and Enzyme Activities
Effects of maize and ginger intercropping on the soil microorganisms and enzyme activities were researched. The results showed that the changes of the soil microorganisms and enzyme activities were different with the different culture modes. The soil microorganisms, enzyme activities in maize and ginger intercropping modes were significantly higher than those of maize monoculture. Among different planting modes (2.00 m, 2.33 m, 2.67 m and 3.00 m), the soil enzyme activities of 2.33 m planting mode was the highest. The correlation analysis showed that the amount of the soil microorganisms was positively correlated to the soil enzyme activities, and that of actinomyces was significantly correlated to catalase activities.
