Allelochemicals from Roots Exudation and Its Environment Behavior in Soil
The exudate of roots was important carder by which the allelochemicals entered soil. Allelochemicals may have wide effects on plant, microbial and enzyme in soil, which were the main contents in allelopathy research. Actually, the allelopathy of roots exudates had to depend on long-term accumulation of allelochemicals under natural conditions. This course was not only related to the intensity that plant roots secreted allelochemicals, but the characteristics of allelopathic substances and the sorption or degradation capability of soil. Therefore, the study on accumulation mechanism of allelochemicals also was one part of the main contents of allelopathy research. Thereinto, the environment behaviors such as migration, sorption and desorption and degradation were tightly relevant to accumulation of allelochemicals, which was the important to reveal the accumulation mechanism of allelochemicals and should be paid more attention in the later research.
