国际图联的形成使各国图书馆界有了共同的专业组织,加强了彼此之间知识技术流动,促进了图书馆学理论与实践的标准化、职业化及专业化建设.国际图联的形成,受到技术、思想及个人因素三个方面的影响.现代图书馆事业的发展,使各国图书馆界都面临着许多共同的问题,存在协作共商的需要,具备了产生国际图联的客观需要.在思想方面,一战使各国人民反思相互理解的重要性,超国家性质的国际组织受到人们的关注,国际图联亦被各国人民赋予了促进和平的功能.亨瑞特完成了国际图联概念具体化的进程,对国际图联的诞生及功能定位产生了重大影响.
Abstract
The formation of the IFLA directs a common international organization for library academies in different nations,strengthening the communication of knowledge and technology between each other and promoting the construction of standardization,profession alization,and specialization.Three factors,including technology,thinking,and individual,affect the formation of IFLA.The development of modern library careers leads to many common issues in library academies in different countries,creating the need to consult and cooperate.In turn,it forms an objective need for IFLA.In thinking sides,WWI helps people realize the importance of mutual understanding.The feature of the supernation of international origination is the public concern.Therefore,the IFLA has been endowed by people with the function of peace.Mr.Henriot finally finished the concretized process of IFLAs concept,which significantly affected the birth and function of IFLA.
