Risk of the Failure of Library User Profiling Service and Its Avoidance
The failure of user profiling service is the gap between the ideal and the reality of user profiling service supply.Restricted by own inherent limitations and external adverse factors,user profiling service deviates from expectations,fails to effectively complete the task and achieve the goals,thus loses users'trust.The failure to provide accurate and personalized services and the deviation from the core values of the library frequently result in the failure of user profiling services.In order to avoid the risk of service failure,the library must have and fulfill more higher moral value while pursuing technical efficiency.To this end,library should empower users,improve optimization algorithms.build resource service profiling,break the information cocoon room,ensure universal and equal service,and establish the personal information protection system.
