Research on University Library Support Services Based on the Whole Process of Scientific Research Achievement Evaluation
The evaluation services of scientific research achievements are one of the main aspects of the academic support services provided by university libraries.From the perspective of the evaluation process of scientific research achievements,this paper discusses it in detail which includes:analyzing the performance of indicators to guide the selection of indicators;analyzing the sources of achievements through comprehensively collecting data;leveraging a variety of evaluation tools and methods to empower the analysis and presentation of achievement data;discussing achievement data to complete quantitative evaluations;and summarizing evaluation results to produce evaluation reports.However,some challenges exist in the evaluation support services of scientific research achievements in university libraries,such as the lack of research evaluation service policies and a unified management platform,the evaluation data obtained being neither comprehensive nor timely enough,with the modes and content of evaluation support services lagging behind the actual needs.Based on this,university libraries should improve the mechanisms of research evaluation support services,enhance the abilities and qualities of librarians involved in research evaluation support services,and expand the content and scope of research evaluation support services.
