Research on the Influencing Factors of Children's Social Ability from the Perspective of Family Parent-Child Reading
Family parent-child reading is the most common form of parent-child interaction in modern families,which mainly reflects family parenting style,home reading environment and children's behavior habits.To explore the relationship between parents'democratic upbringing,home reading environment and children's social ability can provide a basis for the library to carry out family parent-child reading.The main caretakers of 199 children in 3 kindergartens in Wuhan were analyzed by questionnaire.The results showed that the democratic upbringing of parents,home reading environment and children's social ability were positively correlated,the democratic upbringing of parents and home reading environment were positively correlated,and home reading environment played a mediating role between the democratic upbringing of parents and children's social ability.Therefore,optimizing the effectiveness of parent-child reading in families and enhancing children's social abilities can focus on the following three aspects:strengthening democratic parenting methods,promoting high-quality family reading environments,and creating diverse parent-child reading platforms.
