Research on the Role Orientation of School Libraries in Promoting Campus Digital Literacy Education
The necessity of Chinese primary and secondary school libraries to promote campus digital literacy education is mainly reflected in the following aspects:policy documents stipulate that school libraries should carry out educational functions,development demands of school libraries in the new era,and the call of development demands of research and practice of school libraries.There are six roles for school libraries to promote campus digital literacy education,including planners,space providers,information resource guarantors,activity implementers,evaluation implementers,and teaching researchers.In order to promote campus digital literacy education in Chinese school libraries,we should improve the institutional content of promoting campus digital literacy education by school libraries at the national level;strengthen the union of school libraries and create institutional systems at different levels;comprehensively enhance the ability of school librarians to carry out digital literacy education;promote multi-industry collaboration to create a communication highland for issues on school libraries digital literacy education.
