Multi-disciplinary integration is an important highlight of the"new liberal arts".In this era,the original paradigm of library science is gradually shifted to a new paradigm towards"new liberal arts";the new paradigm leads innovations in library science towards more integration with other disciplines.Under the background of the"new liberal arts",the paradigm of library science in China not only includes"library science+management science","library science+law",and"library science+STEM",but also can cross integrate with multiple other disciplines.However,multi-disciplinary integration does not fundamentally overturn library science.During the paradigm shift of library science,methods,strategies,and tools(methodologies)tend to change,while targets,objectives,and ultimate goals of research(epistemologies)do not.
