Reflecting on the history of library technology application from the perspective of technological philosophy,it can be seen that society determines the direction of technology development,and the librarianship should treat the development and application of technology with caution;how to maximize benefits under the guidance of technology rather than being bound by technology is an important issue that the librarianship needs to constantly consider.Although the industry is actively exploring the prospects of metaverse libraries,the vast majority of libraries are still in the early stages of exploration,observing and hovering.The imagination of metaverse libraries far exceeds practice,indicating that metaverse libraries are still in the stage of conceptual exploration rather than large-scale implementation,and further in-depth research is needed.The scene innovation of the metaverse library can involve multiple aspects:the metaverse library can create a more immersive reading experience through virtual reality and augmented reality technology;intelligent recommendation algorithms and personalized settings can be used to track readers'reading interests and habits,providing them with customized resources;it can also become a platform for cross-cultural communication and knowledge sharing on a larger scale.
