Analysis and Reference of International Digital Preservation Alliances'Management Mode
Exploring the management model of the digital conservation alliance can promote its better implementation of digital resource preservation and utilization practices,in order to improve its management efficiency.Through research and literature review on the construction of management systems,establishment of management institutions and personnel,management responsibilities and division of labor of 43 international digital preservation alliances,it can be concluded that management policies and system types are divided into organizational culture,planning management,financial management,subject management,resource access,marketing activities,quality management,and risk management.The management subjects include alliance meetings,board of directors,councils,committees,groups,and teams/personnel.The management levels include decision-making management,operational management,executive management,and operational management.The management modes can be divided into three categories:full level management mode,double-level management mode,and single-level management mode.By drawing on the experience of the international digital alliances,it can be concluded that the construction of China's digital preservation alliance should establish a scientific and reasonable institutional system,set up management entities for collaborative operations,define clear management responsibilities,and adopt a management mode that is suitable for the application alliance.
