Analysis of Cultural Pathways for Consolidating and Expanding the Achievements of Poverty Alleviation and Effectively Connecting with Rural Revitalization:A Perspec-tive from Public Libraries
After comprehensively building a moderately prosperous society, consolidating and expanding the achievements of poverty alleviation and effectively connecting with rural revitalization is a key pathway to achieving long-term poverty alleviation, common prosperity, and advancing towards socialist modernization. As important components of the public cultural system,it is necessary for public libraries to participate in consolidating the achievements of poverty alleviation and effectively connecting with rural revitalization. However, they face challenges such as mismatched resource allocation and uneven development, complex departmental structures and unclear functional positioning, deviation of rural residents'cultural values and lack of endogenous motivation, low marketization of cultural industries and slow capital flow.Public libraries should leverage their advantages and focus on consolidating the achievements of poverty alleviation, narrowing regional development gaps, and enhancing regional development capabilities. This can be achieved through five main measures:promoting systematic development of rural public cultural undertakings, accurately identifying and avoiding large-scale return to poverty, cultivating and embedding endogenous motivation within rural households, enhancing the external development momentum of poverty alleviation areas, and improving the support network for rural public cultural service. In this way, public libraries can fully play their role as cultural leaders in consolidating and expanding the achievements of poverty alleviation and effectively connecting with rural revitalization.
