On the Knowledge System,Fundamental Laws,and Disciplinary Structure of Infor-mation Resource Management
This paper systematically reviews the core knowledge system of information resource management over the past 50 years,summarizing it into three perspectives:the information lifecycle,resources(domains),and organizational management.It identifies the regular characteristics of the core knowledge system,and proposes five laws of information resource management,namely,the laws of management subject,management object,management mission,management methods,and management coordination.Based on this,the author analyzes the structural layout of the first-level discipline of information resource management in China,and predicts the future development trends of disciplinary structure.
