Library Evaluation Research from the Perspective of Generative Artificial Intelligence:Key Perspectives,Theoretical Core,and Driving Factors
Using generative artificial intelligence technology,this article systematically reviews and summarizes the research sta-tus in the field of library statistics and evaluation in China,aiming to provide theoretical support for the development of library services and to improve service quality and management practices.The research finds that current library evaluation studies focus on core areas such as library statistics,library evaluation,resource development,cataloging work,digital libraries,and reference services.Most research concentrates on library information and digital library fields,with the computer software and application field also holding significant importance.The research in library statistics and evaluation has gone through initial,stable growth,significant growth,and fluctuation adjustment stages.Library evaluation research covers theories of techno-social structures,methods combining evaluation and digital library management,and marketing strategies.The driving factors for library evaluation include policy and regulatory support led by government agencies,funding and resource support,statistical evaluations among libraries and their organizations,and professional evaluation standards and methods provided by third-party institutions.
