Analysis and Implications of the Layout Characteristics of China's Information Resource Management Discipline
After the renaming of the first-level discipline of Information Resource Management,the academic community ur-gently needs to explore new ideas and perspectives for the construction of the Information Resource Management discipline in China.The article uses information measurement methods and network survey methods to analyze the ranking of the Information Resource Management discipline in the QS and ARWU rankings over the past three years(2021-2023),investigate the overall layout characteristics of the Chinese Information Resource Management discipline on a global scale,and comprehensively analyze the ideas and characteristics of constructing the second-level discipline group of Information Resource Management in Chinese universities based on the ARWU 2019-ARWU 2023 rankings of the best disciplines in China.The study found that the distribution of the Information Resource Management discipline globally exhibits uneven characteristics,showing a significant clustering phenomenon;China's academic ranking in this field continues to rise,placing it in a leading position in Asia;the Information Resource Management discipline in China shows uneven distribution characteristics in terms of geographical location,and the construction of the second-level discipline group shows a trend of multidisciplinary cross-integration.Finally,the following recommendations are proposed:focusing on the development of disciplinary connotation,emphasizing regional overall coordination and development;deepening the reform of talent training models,cultivating disciplinary characteristics and university characteristics;integrating the construction of the Information Resource Management discipline into actions serving local and social development..
