Research on the Pathways of Libraries'Participation in the Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage in China
Libraries in our country play an important role in the field of historical and cultural heritage protection.Based on the relevant work carried out by libraries in recent years in China,the article explores and studies the paths they belong to,and clarifies the interconnections between different paths.It is then discovered that under the driving force of its inherent functions,libraries in China have formed five main paths for participating in the protection of historical and cultural heritage:social promotion,social participation,ancient book protection,new media application,and talent cultivation.At the same time,the study suggests that libraries in China should improve the path of historical and cultural heritage protection by transforming cognitive thinking,enhancing the impact of activities,and cultivating talents for the new era..
