At a new historical starting point,improving the construction of grassroots public cultural services in China and nar-rowing the urban-rural gap in public cultural services is of great significance for promoting the high-quality development of public cultural services.The article analyzes the current status of grassroots public cultural service construction in China,summarizes the key elements of grassroots public cultural service construction,and systematically elaborates on the"cultural steward"model.Based on this,it proposes optimization strategies for China's grassroots public cultural services,aiming to promote the development of the public cultural service system to a broader space and contribute to the construction of China's public cultural service system.
