Research on the Current Situation,Issues,and Strategies of Intelligent Services for As-sisting the Elderly in Public Libraries in the Digital-Intelligent Era
Under the empowerment of digital technology,the ubiquitous interconnection features,embedded intelligent devices,and application of big data in libraries provide support for enhancing the capabilities and quality of intelligent services for assisting the elderly.The article investigates and analyzes the intelligent elderly care services of 32 provincial public libraries in China,finding that these libraries have provided various forms of intelligent services for the elderly and have achieved initial results.However,there are still issues such as insufficient environmental inclusiveness,limited contents of digital literacy cultivation,under-utilization of collection resources,low application of digital technology,and inadequate marketing awareness for intelligent service care for the elderly.Based on this,the article proposes intelligent service care for the elderly strategies from five perspectives,aiming to empower provincial libraries in the digital age to provide intelligent elderly care services.
