Research on Service Strategies for Elderly Readers in Public Libraries Under the Con-cept of Active Aging:A Case Study of Public Libraries in Ningxia Region
In the context of an aging population,public libraries should integrate aging concepts into their services for the elder-ly,actively responding to social needs.This article takes the elderly services of public libraries in the Ningxia region as an example to analyze some common issues faced by public libraries in China regarding elderly services.It suggests that public libraries should focus on the spiritual and cultural needs of the elderly by implementing a series of strategies,including changing service concepts,improving facilities and equipment,creating service brands,and advocating for active engagement of the elderly,in order to enhance the effectiveness of elderly services.
