The application and development of metaverse-related technologies is an important opportunity to promote the transformation and optimization of library services, providing a direction for the construction of multiple spaces and guidance for the innovation of public library spatial services. This paper conducts in-depth interviews with public library users of different ages, educational backgrounds, professions and geographical areas, and explores their demands for public library spatial services using the method of grounded theory.Based on the KANO model,it develops a model of public library users'spatial service demands in the metaverse field, and then proposes some development strategies. The results show that library management is an external driver of users'spatial service demands, and user experience and space configurations are the internal drivers. With intelligence as the goal, multiple governance as the means, and technology as the basis, public libraries should improve spatial services from three aspects:library construction, user needs and space configurations.
