探索大学生学术信息搜寻挫折形成机制和应对行为,有助于进一步推动情感视角下的学术信息搜寻理论模型的完善,改善信息搜寻体验.文章随机招募34名大学生进行半结构化访谈,调查学生们在专业学习和科研任务相关信息搜寻时的受挫经历.采用扎根理论的三级编码方法,从挫折成因、挫折情绪与行为反应三个方面对访谈资料进行分析归纳,构建大学生学术信息搜寻挫折模型.研究发现,学术信息搜寻挫折主要受用户、任务和环境三方面因素的影响.大学生受挫后容易产生对外部或者对自身的不满情绪,采取情绪化行为或理性行为进行应对.文章揭示了用户预期、社会环境等非困难因素引发的学术信息搜寻挫折,有助于进一步丰富情感视角下学术信息搜寻行为研究.
Abstract
Exploring the formation mechanism of academic information-seeking frustration and the responses of college students is helpful in promoting the refinement of the theoretical model of academic information-seeking from an emotional perspective and improving the information-seeking experience.Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 34 randomly selected college students to investigate their frustration in the process of information-seeking for professional learning and research.Using grounded theory with three levels of coding,this paper analyzes the interview data and creates a model of college students'academic information-seeking frustration from three aspects of frustration causes,frustration emotions and behavioral responses.The results show that academic information-seeking frustration is mainly influenced by three factors:user,task and environment.Students tend to feel resentment towards the outside world or themselves and respond emotionally or rationally when they are frustrated.This study reveals the frustration in academic information-seeking caused by non-difficult factors such as user expectation and social environment,which will help to further enrich the research on academic information-seeking behavior from an emotional perspective.
