Relationship Between Social Satisfaction and Subjective Well-being of Contemporary Librarians
The social satisfaction of librarians,as the backbone of providing public cultural services and encouraging everyone to read,has an impact on the performance of libraries'social functions and the realization of librarians'professional value.Based on a questionnaire survey of 13,476 librarians,this article evaluates the level of social satisfaction among librarians,analyzes the differences in social satisfaction among librarians in different regions,and further explores the relationship between librarians'social satisfaction and subjective well-being.The study shows that the overall social satisfaction of librarians is relatively high,significantly higher in the East than in other regions;at the micro level,individual life satisfaction is more strongly correlated with librarians'subjective well-being.
