Factors Influencing User Commitment of New Media Services in Libraries and their Mechanism of Action
New media services are one of the important practices of digital transformation in libraries,and building long-term and stable relationship with users is a strategy for their sustainable development.As the essence of continuity of user relationship,user commitment is an important indicator and means for the library new media services to maintain and retain users.Clearly identifying its key influencing factors and their mechanism of action is crucial to accurately improve the effectiveness of library new media services and the level of user commitment.Using the sequential exploratory mixed method,this article first develops a theoretical model of the influencing factors of user commitment through qualitative research,and then applies structural equation modelling to explore the intrinsic mechanism of the interaction of these influencing factors in the formation and development of user commitment.The results show that the factors influencing user commitment of new media services in libraries are multiple.Interaction strategies,perceived benefits and emotional attachment have a direct and positive effect on user commitment,while information quality and platform regulation have an indirect and positive effect on user commitment.
