Health Information Service Programs in Canadian Public Libraries
The study of health information service programs in Canadian public libraries can shed light on the comprehensive promotion of health information services in their Chinese counterparts under the"Healthy China"strategy.Through online surveys,this article analyzes the health information service programs of 14 public libraries in Canada in terms of program type,topic,partnership and program characteristics.It recommends that China's public libraries should comprehensively promote health information services,with an emphasis on normalizing program operation,deepening joint services,optimizing supply-side content,carrying out targeted measures in health services,and building a health ecosystem,so as to improve the health and well-being of individuals and society.
