ChatGPT Empowers Digital Humans in Libraries:Technological Advantages,Application Scenarios,and Practical Pathways
ChatGPT offers more imagination and possibilities for the application of digital humans in library services.By summarizing the operating principles and technical advantages of ChatGPT,this paper proposes the main application scenarios of ChatGPT-enabled virtual beings in libraries,such as intelligent Q&A for virtual librarians,virtual narrators,reading promotion programs,and services accessible to special populations.It is recommended that libraries explore the path of empowering virtual library avatars through ChatGPT,focusing on technical support,information resources,service scenarios,and management systems,in order to better realize intelligent library services.
