Knowledge Organization of Ancient Traditional Architectural Works from the Perspective of Technical Heritage——A Case Study of Damuzuo System in YingZao FaShi
Ancient classic works on traditional architecture are an important vehicle of China's ancient building techniques, and the semantic correlation and organization of the techniques and experiences are of great significance to the inheritance and utilization of ancient architectural technology.Taking the textual information on the Damuzuo(large woodwork)system recorded in YingZao FaShi(Building Standards, the oldest extant Chinese technical manual on buildings)Volumes 4 and 5 as the original corpus, this paper conducts a study on Damuzuo techniques.Based on the Metadata Specification for Cultural Relics of Ancient Architecture, the ontology of"Song-style Damuzuo Techniques"is created, reused, extended with instances, stored and displayed by using the knowledge graph. Then,a 3D model of the component"PuZuo"is developed,a prototype system is designed to demonstrate the graph data, and the application value of the ontology is verified.
