Information Organization and Processing of the Characters in Three Commentaries on Spring and Autumn Annals Based on Bibliographical Data
The manually compiled Index to Chunqiu Jingzhuan is of high quality,and applying the bibliographical data(word headings)to the organization of the characters in the classics will help to play its valuable role in the digital age.Using the data of the word headings in the digitised Index to Chunqiu Jingzhuan,this article attempts to disambiguate the names of persons in the three commentaries(Zuo Zhuan,Gong Yang Zhuan and Gu Liang Zhuan)on the Spring and Autumn Annals,and aggregates the relevant headings according to the descriptions,giving them unique identifiers to achieve standardized control of personal information.On this basis,it verifies the multiple headings of persons,and sets up a traceable,reusable,dynamically maintainable scheme for organizing informtion about the characters in Chinese classics.The authors have organized a total of 3,270 characters in the three classics,and proposed an information organization structure of"canon-heading-character"which will con-tribute to achieving the organization and mining of knowledge in Chinese classics.
