The Evolution of Users'Knowledge Needs in the Process of Online Medical Consultation
This paper explores what characterizes users'knowledge demand in the interaction process of online medical consultation, thus providing clues for improving doctor-patient interaction and promoting health informatics research.By crawling the doctor-patient dialogues from the gastroenterology section on platform C,the study designs a user knowledge coding system to analyze the general characteristics of users'knowledge needs, the probability of transformation of knowledge types, and the evolution path of knowledge needs. The results suggest that there are multiple types of user knowledge needs during the doctor-patient interaction, which are increasingly concentrated;the proportion of active knowledge needs is higher than that of passive knowledge needs;and the evolution process of user knowledge needs is characterized by three features.
