Graduate education shoulders the important mission of cultivating high-level talents,and curriculum provision is a necessary link to guarantee the quality of graduate training.The article investigates and analyzes the requirements of curriculum provision in China's MLIS cultivation policy documents and the situation of curriculum provision in training units.It is found that the basic courses of cultivation units cover the core knowledge in the field of library and information science,the competency development courses cultivate the basic professional competencies,and the exploration and development courses highlight distinctive features.But there are problems such as the urgent need for comprehensive coverage of the core courses,insufficient establishment of the competency development courses,the dispersal of the exploratory development courses,the need for standardization of the names of the courses and the difficulty in publicly obtaining the information of the courses.Therefore,it puts forward the proposals of comprehensively covering the core courses,strengthening the ability training courses,cooperating to explore the future development courses,standardizing and unifying the course names,and allowing the public accessing of the course information to promote the construction of MLIS courses and improve the quality and level of MLIS training.
