The Information Center of Chemistry,Biology and Pharmacy of ETH Zurich pioneered the Coffee lecture as a digital literacy education model in 2013,which has been recognized and studied by many university libraries in Europe.The research focuses on the practice of coffee lecture in the Information Center of Chemistry,Biology and Pharmacy of ETH Zurich,in order to provide ideas for Chinese university libraries to learn coffee lecture mode and promote digital literacy education,and to help to promote the innovation of digital literacy education according to local conditions.Through online research,the research combined informal learning theory and situated learning theory to analyze the case of ETH Zurich.The successful experience mainly includes constructing informal learning situation,creating informal learning spaces and formulating diversified publicity strategy.Based on the investigation and analysis of the results,this paper provides several ideas for the development of digital literacy education in Chinese university libraries:learning coffee lecture mode and constructing informal learning situation,adapting to individual needs and creating informal learning spaces,formulating diversified propaganda strategies and building a regular propaganda position,setting flexible learning goals and evaluating informal learning outcomes.
