A review of the literature on nationwide reading in China is expected to provide some reference for subsequent research and practice.With the methods of literature survey and content analysis,the literature sources,research vocabulary and themes were analyzed.Research topics such as"rural library","rural reading","reading space","family reading"and"social reading"have been discovered.The contents of the study were sorted out,which consist of the basic theories of nationwide reading,promotion practices,legislative studies and the role of libraries in nationwide reading.Future research suggestions are proposed,including deepening the theoretical system of nationwide reading,in-depth promotion of reading promotion and the creation of reading brands,the legislative guarantee of reading,the digital intelligence empowering nationwide reading,and improvement of the integration mechanism of nationwide reading.
