This paper explores the construction of postgraduate degree programs in iSchools in China through network research to provide a reference for promoting the development of related disciplines of information resource management in China.Using the method of network research and literature research,this paper investigated the postgraduate degree programs of 13 iSchools colleges in China by searching the websites of iSchools at home and abroad,and analyzed and summarized the degree programs from four aspects:degree program overview,process assessment form and requirements,practical requirements and employment destinations,and postgraduate degree program categories.The research results show that the postgraduate degree programs of iSchools in China present the following characteristics and development trends:the discipline training system is increasingly robust by shaping the core competitiveness,the assessment system is continuously improving in line with the development direction of the times,integrity is upheld to promote innovative development by emphasizing socialist characteristics,and interdisciplinary exchanges are strengthened through the integration of disciplines.Through the comparative analysis with the postgraduate degree programs of foreign iSchools,it is pointed out that the construction and development of this discipline can be improved from three aspects:professional orientation,curriculum setting and information disclosure.
