In order to promote the improvement of scientific data sharing platform and promote the sharing and utilization of scientific data,this paper selects 10 national scientific data sharing platforms in the field of earth sciences to investigate and analyze the organization,description,navigation,and retrieval of data resources on each platform based on information architecture theory.It was found that the scientific data sharing platform has issues such as insufficient standardization of data organization and description,inconsistent data identifiers and citation formats,and incomplete functions of navigation and retrieval systems.In response to these issues,various scientific data sharing platforms should reasonably set up classification systems and keywords,standardize data categories and metadata standards,unify identifiers and citation formats,optimize navigation and retrieval systems,and other platform functions to improve the capabilities of organization,description,navigation,and retrieval of the platforms.
