The"Opinions on Promoting the Implementation of the National Cultural Digitalization Strategy"calls for"innovating public reading and art spaces".In this context,exploring the development path of public reading space is helpful to promote the construction of grassroots public cultural service system.This paper analyzes the value pursuit,operation logic and strategy choice of public reading space under the national cultural digitalization strategy by using policy text analysis and inductive methods.Public reading space should maximize the revitalization of cultural resources,activate emerging technologies to the fullest extent,maximize the efficiency of knowledge services,and maximize the effectiveness of policy frameworks.Furthermore,supported by the horizontal collaboration between digital resources and construction entities,guided by the vertical deepening of systems and formats,and empowered by technological integration to provide grassroots cultural services,a new form of public reading space is formed,with cultural resources as the engine,cultural industries as the fortress,cultural services as the benchmark,and cultural undertakings as the highland.
