With reading service as the core,embedding a new type of reading space into urban rail transit is of great significance to improve the level of local public cultural services.This paper takes the construction process and core characteristics of"Hehe e-book bars"at 15 stations along the S1 urban rail transit line in Taizhou City,facilitated by a PPP model involving six primary stakeholders.It thoroughly analyzes the construction process and fundamental characteristics while contemplating strategies for replication and dissemination.The research concludes that the cooperation and co-construction model led by the government and participated by social forces is in line with the construction of rail transit reading facilities,and on this basis,it is necessary to further explore the sustainable development operation and management mechanism to build rail transit into a novel venue for segmented services of library.
