In the data age,libraries contain a large amount of valuable data.Scientific governance and utilization of this data can help promote the intelligent transformation of libraries.This article analyzes the construction plans of university library data governance products provided by five data governance companies through content analysis method,sorts out governance objects,governance objectives,and governance functions,analyzes the boundaries of governance objects,hierarchical division of governance objectives,and differences in governance mode structure,and summarizes the problems existing in the research products.Based on the analysis results,suggestions are proposed for the data governance work in university libraries from the perspectives of clarifying the"boundaries"of governance scope,safeguarding the"roots"of data services,standardizing the"governance"of data,attaching importance to the"utilization"of governance data,exploring the"methods"of governance evaluation,and emphasizing the"effectiveness"of governance outcomes.
