Open science aims to promote global academic equity.Research libraries with free and equal access to knowledge as the core value are highly consistent with the connotation of open science.Research libraries have a solid foundation in advocating and promoting the practice of open science.The Research Library Alliance,representing the collective strength of research libraries,plays a leading role in amplifying the advantages of research libraries and better promoting open science practices.In this paper,five members of the International Alliance of Research Library Associations(IARLA),which are also the typical representatives of research library alliance abroad,are studied,and basic measures and the practice progress of promoting open science is studied through network investigation and case analysis.Through inductive analysis,it is concluded that the research library alliance abroad promotes open scientific practice through all-round planning,multi-form cooperation and high-quality service.Finally,based on the current situation in China,it is suggested that the research library alliance at home should formulate the action route of open science,cultivate open science service capability,and seek win-win cooperation extensively.
