The digital literacy education for college students in university libraries is an important catalyst for increasing the effective supply of digital talent and realizing the power of digital talents.Taking"Academic Search Challenge"for Universities in seven provinces(autonomous regions)in Central and South China as an example,this paper discusses the practical path of cultivating college students'digital literacy under the mode of"competition education",constructs the cultivation framework of"competition education"model based on the practice of"competition education",and evaluates the competition system service layer,resource supply layer and platform guarantee layer based on the content framework of digital literacy.It is found that"competition education"has advantages such as wide coverage of education content,diversified education scene,and digital migration ability involved,but there is still room for improvement in terms of education depth,the strengthening of digital ethics and the establishment of digital awareness.According to the evaluation results,the following practical paths for the cultivation of digital literacy competition are summarized:constructing the trinity of competition resource platform,enriching the supply of high-quality competition,constructing diversified application scenarios,cultivating healthy digital values,and activating lifelong digital awareness.
