Open science contributes significantly to promoting technological innovation.As hubs of information resources and academic exchange,university libraries play a crucial role in advancing open science practices.This study employs a combination of online research and content analysis to examine the current state of open science initiatives within the top 10 QS-ranked UK university libraries.It provides a comprehensive overview of their distinctive approaches to open science resource development,policy frameworks,and educational outreach.Drawing upon these insights from the UK experience,the study proposes recommendations for Chinese university libraries:strengthening collaboration both within and outside universities to optimize open science services and support;establishing comprehensive open science policy frameworks to cultivate a supportive environment;and implementing open science literacy training programs to encourage broader participation from civil society.
