Exploration of pre-assembly techniques of carbon and graphite core components for high temperature gas-cooled reactor(HTGR)
The carbon core components for high temperature gas-cooled reactor(HTGR)are similar to the graphite core components. All of them are cylindrical hollow cylinder structure which is made of carbon brick and graphite brick. The carbon core component is on the outer side and the graphite core componentis on the inner side. The two components are assembled into a lare size and high preci-sion assembly by falcon and key connection. In order to ensure the smooth installation of the nuclear power plant, the core components need to be pre-assembled.Based on the identification of the key points and difficulties of the pre-assembly technology of carbon core components and graphite core components, the positioning and assembly methods of side layer carbon bricks for the most difficult pre-assembly of carbon core components are thoroughly analyzed, and three alternative ideal positioning and assembly methods of side layer carbon bricks are compared and verified, and the most ideal pre-assembly methods of side layer carbon bricks are finally determined. This pre-assembly method is not only suitable for the pre-assembly of carbon core components, but also for the pre-assembly of graph-ite core components.
