Study on properties of anthracite from different producing areas
With the continuous progress of blast furnace ironmaking technology in China,the quality requirements of blast furnace car-bon brick are also higher and higher.Anthracite is the basic raw material for producing blast furnace carbon brick,whose performance directly affects the quality of blast furnace carbon brick.Therefore,a systematic study was conducted on anthracite from 6 production ar-eas,and it was found that anthracite A and D have low ash content,small burning loss and good thermal stability.And the calcined an-thracite has the advantags of high density and good strength,and is a high-quality raw material for blast furnace carbon brick.
