Abstract
During the period of Zhenguan and Zongzhang,there were three large-scale migrations of Goguryeo's adherents in the Tang Dynasty.For these immigrants,the governance methods adopted by the Tang court experienced a transition from Jimi to placing equal emphasis on Jimi and integration,and then to integration.The academic community has achieved fruitful research results on this issue,but there are still some shortcomings in tile discussion of the social basis for the integration of immigrants,the evolution of governance methods,the integration process,and the impact on the situation in the northeast frontier of the Tang Dynasty.Therefore,we should not only pay attention to the application of historical materials,but also introduce research methods from relevant disciplines into historical research.We should also strengthen international academic exchanges and translate high-level academic works of foreign scholars,in order to avoid research duplication and academic misconduct caused by language issues.This is not only conducive to deepening the understanding of the ethnic characteristics and evolution of Goguryeo,but also can provide valuable historical reference for national exchanges and integration of ethnic policies.
