An Empirical Research on User Portrait of Mobile Social Media FoMO in the New Environment
[Purpose/Significance]By exploring the stimulus and response elements of users'mobile social media FoMO,the paper constructs its generation mechanism model and classifies user portraits,so as to provide theoretical and practical guidance for social media operators to achieve information precision services.[Method/Process]Through literature analysis and grounded theory,this paper extracted the influencing factors of FoMO,and constructed user portrait model on the information ecology theory and SOR.Then,it took the K-means cluster anal-ysis with questionnaire data,and finally,obtained four types of user portraits and analyzed the specific characteris-tics of each type with the clustering results.[Result/Conclusion]It concludes that the four different types of user portrait labels are addiction,forced use,overuse and passive use,which provide a more comprehensive explanation of user portrait of social media FoMO for relevant operators or institutions.
